Plant Overview
Zhangbin Solar is located in the Changhua Coastal Industrial Park area in Changhua County. It is a ground-mounted photovoltaic project built on industrial park land, part of Taipower's solar development in response to renewable energy policy.
Changbin Solar Farm sits in the Lunwei West section of the Changbin Industrial Zone in Lukang, Changhua. Construction began in February 2018, the plant connected to the grid that October, and it was fully completed in 2019 with a 100 MW capacity — at the time Taiwan's largest ground-mounted solar installation. It uses monocrystalline dual-glass bifacial modules generating roughly 130 million kWh a year, with some panel arrays laid out to evoke local protected species such as the Chinese white dolphin and little tern.
