This real-time reservoir dashboard synthesizes official open data from the Water Resources Agency (MOEA), monitoring 72 major reservoirs and hydraulic weirs across Taiwan. Total effective water storage currently stands at approximately 180,723.7 (10,000 m³), with an overall weighted capacity storage ratio of 93.8%.
Among primary storage reservoirs across Taiwan, 35 facilities maintain abundant storage above 80%, while 3 primary storage reservoirs are currently at low storage levels (below 25%). Run-of-river weirs, silt-retention dams, and flood-control structures operate routinely based on natural river inflows rather than long-term impoundment.
Covering critical northern (Feitsui, Shimen, Baoshan II), central (Deji, Sun Moon Lake, Liyutan), and southern (Zengwen, Nanhua, Wushanto) systems, this dashboard tracks real-time storage ratios, water level elevations, inflow/outflow balances, and flood-control release status to support water dispatch and drought/flood mitigation.
Uses one consistent blue scale for every reservoir with both effective storage and effective capacity so current storage ratios can be compared quickly.
