Wo-2 Wind Farm, like Wo-1, is part of the Greater Changhua offshore wind project cluster off the coast of Changhua County.
Wo-2 Wind Farm is part of Ørsted's Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farm phase-2 project, which was awarded 920MW of grid capacity in the Ministry of Economic Affairs' 2018 offshore wind auction and uses 66 Siemens Gamesa 14-236 DD 14MW turbines. In 2020 it became subject to a 20-year corporate power purchase agreement with TSMC, reportedly the world's first offshore wind farm built to supply a single corporate buyer.
